Yum!Д«ats are pretty much nocturnal, which means they sleep during the day and they are the only mammals that can truly fly. The good news is those bats donвЂ™t live in the UK the bats living here like insects. And, some people are put off by the fact some bats rather like drinking blood. They have a dark appearance, unusual wings, furry bodies that remind people of mice and really big ears. Most people think they are quite ugly and if you looked at a bat, you might well agree. BatsД«ats arenвЂ™t really much like teatrays, but thatвЂ™s probably a good thing. In arts and crafts, weвЂ™re making flappy bats and creepy cats and here IвЂ™m going to tell you a little bit about why bats and cats are scary and a lot more about why they are cool. You can tape the nose section to the fuselage if youвЂ™d like, it will not affect flapping.Halloween is fast approaching, so expect hoards of witches and skies full of bats, bubbling cauldrons, vampires and cats.

If the fuselage and the nose separates, itвЂ™s ok, it usually doesnвЂ™t affect flight.

For those that have no patience (like me), manually fold and unfold the wings several times to loosen them. When the folds are new and tight, the wings will not flap or will only flap slightly.

Fly the Bat Wing around several times and allow the wing folds to loosen.

Hold the Bat Wing with the wings parallel to the ground, the back fuselage should be sticking into your palms. If you hold the Bat Wing like a normal paper airplane, it will not fly well. The wings are folded with a very strong slant.

When you throw the Bat Wing, make sure the wings are parallel to the ground.

You want the wings to be angled upwards giving it a positive dihedral angle. Step 16: Lift the wings up at a slight angle. Make sure you use this technique every time you fold a paper airplane.

This paper airplane not only looks great and glides well, the wings flap like a bird or bat. The Bat Wing is awesome and definitely a cool paper airplane to have in your arsenal! I was testing some new folds and discovered this completely by accident.
